How do I start an online chat? Here are some steps:
- Before using the chat, you should know that the consultation is recorded and by entering the chat you agree to be recorded.
- To start the chat you need to specify your age, gender and what you want to talk about.
Our chat is open on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays from 2pm to 4pm. There is no chat consultation on public holidays.
You can start the chat at the indicated opening time by clicking on the "Start Chat" button in the bottom right corner.
The personal information provided by you through this channel is processed by the SACP in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Personal Data Protection Act. More information about this can be found in our Privacy Policy/Privacy Notice (link).
IMPORTANT! The National Childline 116 111 may not respect confidentiality if your life is in danger during the call. In this case, the 116 111 consultant will connect your call to the general emergency number 112 so that you can get the help you need urgently.
116 111 may not respect the principle of confidentiality after learning that a very serious crime is being prepared.
If it says "No chat possible", it could mean:
- Today is not Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 2pm to 4pm. You're here during our off hours.
- All consultants are currently busy and you need to wait.
You can then try again on another day or contact us directly on the free National Childline 116 111.
Note: No new chats can be started after the specified time, although you may find that the chat still appears to be open. You can then contact us again in the following days chat or directly on 116 111 if you wish.
During the chat you can register here.
Please note that we are only responsible for Bulgaria.
If you need urgent help right away, contact us
24/7, free of charge and anonymously on 116 111!
If the chat is full, you can exchange ideas with other young people twice a month in peer counselling.
